Leading Ladies is a club for young empowering ladies. This club is designed to teach young women how to become leaders and mentors and the importance of carrying themselves with poise, dignity, and respect. We will have meetings twice a month to discuss issues that young women face today, perform community service, and learn the importance of working together.
CFA Leading Ladies hosted their second Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign by major breast cancer organizations to increase the awareness of the disease. This includes educating the public about early detection, the cause, diagnosis, treatment, and support for survivors as well as those who have lost loved ones in the fight.
The Leading Ladies of Central Freshman Academy sponsored by Mrs. Brittany Greyer and Ms. LaKeisha Dozier hosted their 2nd annual Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon on Wednesday, October 24, 2012. The luncheon was provided to honor those who have lost the fight, those who are still battling the fight, and those who have survived the fight of Breast Cancer. The keynote speaker was Dr. Wendy Mahone-Johnson, Board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. During the luncheon, a representative of Columbus Regional Research Foundation was honored and accepted a donation on behalf of the Leading Ladies.
